About
Khizar Ali
Analytics architect · San Jose, CA
I'm an analytics lead architect. I design analytics and BI systems end to end — modeling, storage, retrieval, and the governance that keeps a platform trustworthy a year after launch.
Eighteen years of it, almost entirely inside large enterprises where the data is messy, the stakes are real, and "just rebuild it" was never on the table. That has meant leading onshore and offshore teams, training developers on platforms I had just finished rebuilding, and cutting report load times in half often enough that I now have strong opinions about why they were slow to begin with.
These days that work spans four things I keep coming back to: business intelligence, analytics, data science, and AI. This site is where the parts that don't fit in a résumé bullet end up — the blog for the long explanations, the videos for the ones easier to show than tell.
For the full work history, LinkedIn is the place — that's what it's for.
